Hi, our aim is to give you, the supervisor of a learner driver some useful tips to ensure that you give them the best advice to set them up for years of safe, crash free driving.

If you are training someone to drive then this App is invaluable! It contains the full knowledge and experience of a qualified driving instructor with specialized training.

The author’s background in driver education and road safety stems from a personal tragedy when he lost a family member to a road crash in 1988. He was a member of the NSW police force at the time, and embarked on a career in traffic services, investigating serious and fatal road crashes as well as enforcing road rules. His role in the police also included facilitating road safety lectures to school and community groups. In 1995 he obtained his commercial driving instructors license, and worked as a full time police officer and part time driver trainer. He left the police force in 2005 and embarked into a full time career as a driver trainer. In 2007 he obtained his certification in ‘Advanced Driver Rehabilitation’ from the Western Sydney Campus of Sydney University and specialized in training people with disabilities. He currently operates his own business on the North Coast of New South Wales.

LEARN:
This is the learning section where you can read tips, instructions and how to handle situations. Here you can pick any section and choose a topic to read. Content is easy to read as a scrolling page. Every topic is marked as ‘read’ once it has been viewed so users can easily track their progress. We have endeavored to give you as much information as possible on how to carry out various learning exercises categorized under the following sections.

INTERACTIVE TEST MODES:
This unique application features a fun way to gauge your driving knowledge with an interactive quiz. There are 2 modes of the Quiz Tests designed to keep you motivated and engaged.

DASHBOARD ON
DASHBOARD OFF

WITH DASHBOARD ON:
This is the pressure mode. In this mode there is a 30sec timer countdown for each quiz/test question after which the answer is taken as wrong and question skipped. The speedometer indicates how quickly the previous question was answered – Quick reflex answers help you gain bonus points.

WITH DASHBOARD OFF:
This is the Easy mode. In this mode there is no dashboard but instead there is a ‘NEXT QUESTION’ BUTTON, which replaces it and changes the game to a relaxed one (No timer). This button allows the user to select an answer or change it if he wants before proceeding. Then he can press the ‘NEXT QUESTION’ BUTTON TO MOVE FORWARD.

You will learn key driving topics and build your driving knowledge using our Gamification techniques. Gamification leverages peoples natural desires for competition and achievements by making mundane tests feel more like games.

SHOW ME/TELL ME:
Built into the Quiz control panel is a feature button that lets you get a Hint for each question. This is what we call assisted learning.

REWARD POINTS:
The point system gives you points based on correct answers and in addition it will award bonus points based on how quickly you finish the Test. There are also certificates awarded that reflect your overall score.

Score greater or equal to 75%: certified AAA
Score greater or equal to 50%: certified Gold
Score greater or equal to 25%: certified Silver

The App is designed so that you can continue to learn even when you are not driving, by reading the information provided on all the important aspects.
